The healthcare focus of the Sisili Projects Consortium began at its helm since its founding as Sriyani Industries in 1980 focused on manufacturing absorbent cotton gauze for the requirements of public hospitals under the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka. In, 2002 with the founding of Sisili Projects Consortium, the company joined hands with Lalan Rubbers Pvt. Ltd. for a local manufacturing facility for disposable medical examination and surgical sterile gloves in Sri Lanka. Both products are ISO and CE certified and we have been supplying the total annual requirement of Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health Sterile Surgical Gloves and Examination Gloves since 2011. Our goal is to consistently deliver quality products to our clients both locally and internationally.

Our Products
Distribution
Our distribution network is one of the most widespread in Sri Lanka, covering the whole island and its 9 provinces and 25 districts. Our direct distribution channel is enriched with 6 main distributors and 19 other distributors. Our distribution channel covers major hospitals in the Asiri Group, Nawaloka Group, Durdans Group, and Lanka Hospitals as well as corporate customers such as banks and Government institutions. We work closely with our distributor partners for 141 private hospitals, 1210 pharmacies, and 520 medical clinics spread across the island.
Manufacturing
Currently, 100% of the requirement of disposable medical gloves for the Ministry of Health is now supplied through our locally manufactured products. The impact of this venture by Sisili Projects Consortium saves foreign exchange for the country and has created over 700 direct employment opportunities. Committed to the cause of local manufacturing, Sisili has invested in modern air-jet technology to transform the production of absorbent cotton gauze, and thereby, establishing the first steps necessary to achieve the necessary quality standards for exporting. Sisili also works in partnership with Sun Industries Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture disposable surgical facemasks, sanitary napkins, maternity pads, and cellulose wadding. All products are registered at the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA), and are manufactured under ISO and GMP certifications. In 2020, we began the manufacturing of personal protection equipment (PPE) (such as surgical gowns, protective coveralls and shoe covers) as well.
