The Sisili Engineering division was formed in 2005 for the trading and supply of products such as gas cylinders, electrical meters, aluminium re-draw rods, ceramic insulators for transmission lines, surge arrestors, fuses, voltage regulators, conductors, insulators, transformers, and circuit breakers according to the specifications and the needs of both government and private sectors in Sri Lanka.
Since 2008, Sisili Engineering has partnered with international partners such as ABB Germany and Hanaro Eng. Co. Ltd., Korea, to develop and provide consultancy on turnkey projects. Major engineering consultancy projects we have worked on inclue the design, construction and engineering management services for the Maternity Hospital in Maha Modara, Galle in 2013 and the Panadura Base Hospital and its state-of-the-art building housing over a laboratory, wards, administration and secondary services, staff quarters, and vehicle parking facilities. More completed projects include the establishment of treatment and disposal services for clinical waste in Kerawalapitiya, construction of a laundry complex in Malwana, and the construction of a perimeter fence at Colombo Port City.
Sisili Engineering is powered by a team of individuals highly knowledgeable in water and sanitation, transport and construction, natural resources and rural development, environment and climate change, health, developement assistance, and waste and energy. This team works collectively to provide customized solutions to clients based on their requirements. Alongside consultancy and turnkey projects, Sisili Engineering aims to expand towards interior design as well as engineering education.

Construction
Establishment of treatment and disposal services for clinical waste in Kerawalapitiya, Wattala, Sri Lanka (2019–20): This project involved The Ground development, design with deep foundation, development, and construction of a main building, workshop building and other ancillary structures such as a waste water treatment plant, utility water tank, and transformer room in a land area of 2 acres for the purposes of treatment and disposal of clinical waste. The project was undertaken for Sisili Hanaro Encare Pvt. Ltd.
Laundry complex in Malwana, Biyagama, Sri Lanka (2015–17): The aim of this project was to construct a commercial laundry plant according to international standards in a land area of 2 acres. The project was undertaken for Cleanline Linen Management Pvt. Ltd.
Construction of a perimeter fence at Plot No. 01-02-01 at Port City Colombo, Sri Lanka (2022): The perimeter fence was built Using Steel & sandwich panels per the requirements of the client, China Harbour Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
Refurbishments/ Renovations
EECP Centre Modification Work of Existing Building in Colombo 7, Sri Lanka (2018–19): The Cardiac Treatment Centre was refurbished in the following aspects: glass partitions, gypsum partitions, wooden flooring, carpet flooring, bulk head ceiling, and lighting. Interior design work was carried out on the feature walls and custom made furniture. The project was undertaken for Sisili Specialized Medical Services Pvt. Ltd. Relocation of HeartAid Centre in Colombo 7, Sri Lanka (2021–22): The EECP Cardiac Treatment Centre was relocated from Rosmead Place to Barnes Place in Colombo 7. In addition to refurbishment and interior design, a steel polycarbonate canopy and a passenger elevator were built. The project was undertaken for Sisili Specialized Medical Services Pvt. Ltd.
Ongoing Projects
Proposed Sunday School Building for St. Sebastian’s Church in Katuwapitiya, Negombo, Sri Lanka (2021–present): The project looks into the design, development, and construction of a two-storeyed building, Consists with RCC, Masonry, Timber & Masonry structural elements and luxury unique architectural features such as homogenous tile flooring, grade 1 timber joinery, luxury fittings etc. within a floor area of 10,000 sq. ft. in the St. Sebastian’s Church. The project is undertaken for the State Ministry of Urban Development & Housing Promotion.
